In addition, small size school activities aimed to improve the socialization between ethnically mixed students and teachers are organized.
Sustainability/Legacy
Training courses on active teaching methodology (RWCT) received state accreditation. Two free-time activity programs (Debate and Street Law) became regular project activities (as part of the curriculum) to be selected by students in secondary schools. Competence-based and outcome-oriented curricula redesign, as well as equipping media labs and model classrooms, increased usage of active teaching methodology and ICT usage across the curriculum will assist TTIs in achieving better quality studies and better initial preparation of students-future teachers. Training of students and teachers for Education for Social Justice will strongly contribute to enhancing trust and cooperation both on the side of the students and on the side of the teachers teachers are expected to learn how to use language and activities that avoid gender, ethic and other stereotyping. On a long-run it is expected that they will assist all future students in understanding how stereotypes and prejudices can influence their attitudes and behaviour, how to threat others with, and to expect from others, equity, fairness, respect and dignity.
