USAID Macedonia seeks to contract the services of a local research and polling agency to conduct a national survey of Macedonian citizen’s attitudes and practices regarding democracy and civic participation, and their perceptions about political, civil, and governmental institutions. The data from the survey will be used by USAID to measure progress toward specific indicators for our annual results review and to assist in shaping our programs in the democracy and governance area.

Capacity Building Workshop

USAID Macedonia seeks to contract the services of a local organization to organize a Capacity Building Workshop for the nine local organizations that have been or are about to be awarded with USAID Grants. The objective of the Capacity Building Workshop is to equip the key staff of these organizations with necessary knowledge, skills and template documents needed to better implement the USAID grants and properly follow the established procedures.

USAID Macedonia seeks to contract the services of a local consulting firm (or a Team of consultants) to carry out a comprehensive evaluation of its legislative strengthening program.

The evaluation will a) identify areas of program strengths and weaknesses; b) determine accomplishments and the impact or progress towards achieving the program results to date; c) assess program performance overall and compare it with other parliamentary programs implemented regionally by USAID missions, and d) make recommendations regarding the future direction of USAID/Macedonia’s support to Parliament.
