New Central Heating for Primary School in Mavrovo-Rostushe
On Thursday, November 12th, 2009, at 13:30 p.m., the USAID Primary Education Project (PEP) will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Gjorgji Pulevski Primary School in Rostusha village of Mavrovo-Rostushe Municipality to celebrate the successful installation of new central heating.
USAID Democracy & Governance Officer Erin Epstein, USAID/Primary Education Project Chief of Party Keith Prenton and the Mayor of Mavrovo-Rostushe Mukren Mehmedi are expected to give speeches.
The USAID Primary Education Project (PEP), implemented by the Academy for Educational Development (AED), works with all public primary schools in Macedonia. PEP seeks to improve the quality of instruction and increase employment skills of students. This overall goal of the USAID Education Program is to strengthen education in Macedonia and to support decentralization efforts, as Macedonia seeks entrance to the European Union.
